McCormick will Hold Residency at Sutton Tower While Exhibition, Entitled “Infinite,”

Is On View Exclusively in Duplex Penthouse

NEW YORK CITY, NY (February 29, 2024) -Gamma Real Estate and JVP Management, developers of Sutton Tower, a 120-residence new development condominium located at 430 East 58th Street in Manhattan’s Sutton Place enclave, today announce an art exhibition and residency in collaboration with esteemed British-American artist Stacie McCormick. McCormick, renowned for her captivating large-scale paintings, will showcase recent works, entitled "Infinite," at Sutton Tower, marking her first solo exhibition in the United States. The exhibition is available for viewing by private appointment from February 29 to March 10 and will take place concurrently with McCormick’s studio residency in the building, where she will create new works of art inspired by the spectacular environment, views, and architecture of  Sutton Tower.

“It is an immense honour to be offered such an extraordinary residency at Sutton Tower. It is an incredible architectural achievement and thrilling to have my work exhibited in a rare, unique environment," said Stacie McCormick. "To set up a studio in the sky is almost unimaginable, and I think the privilege to paint in sight of these endless beautiful vistas with views of the water and city skyline will no doubt provide inspiration. It is a wonderful opportunity to share my work with new audiences and such a prestigious community."

 US born UK based multi-disciplined artist. She holds a Master's degree in Fine Art from City & Guilds of London Art School and exhibits her works internationally,  solo exhibitions in London, Paris, St.Tropez, in 2023.  As Founder of Unit 1 Gallery | Workshop, Stacie McCormick that has provided exceptional opportunities for artists and the public through its ambitious programming, that has delivered more than 100 exhibitions with over 200 artists and curators and established a community of over 300 artists.. In 2020, Stacie McCormick Founded Fair Art Fair, a new app-based digital platform that facilitates relationships between everyone interested in Art in a confident transparent environment. Whoever you are you will find a place to explore and discover, buy and sell, organise and document, communicate and be supported.  December 2022, Stacie was elected chair of A-N The Artists Information Network (first artist to chair) 30k membership organisation providing support, bursaries and advocacy for artists. In 2023 Stacie was elected to the executive committee of International Arts Association/Unesco creating advocacy and connection for arts organisations globally
